Owner, Alisia Human and her team of co-workers create and produce handmade beaded jewellery for women inspired by so much colour and passion. Carley and Nita have recently joined the permanent team and there are also six local women who Grace Jewels outsources work to.
Grace Jewels has a keen eye for detail and works with semi-precious, glass, ceramic and wooden beads. Unusual hardware items such as cable ties and even electric wire are now also being transformed into fun jewellery pieces. Their jewellery is described by clients as ‘happy beads’ as there is normally a burst of colour or quirky element in the jewellery. Hence the names of some of their pieces being, Baby Sweetheart, Baby Blossom and Lucky Packet.
Grace Jewels creates costume jewellery with a difference and because it is kept affordable, it can be enjoyed by everybody.
Due to rapid expansion the Grace Jewels team have moved from their peaceful Studio at Rust-en-Vrede Art Gallery into a bustling workshop in the heart of Durbanville.
If you are interested in becoming a stockist and have a gift or clothing boutique, please send me an email to discuss.
Please note that our necklaces may differ slightly from one to the next as they are all handmade and therefore unique. Some of our necklaces might not be in stock due to availability of beads however we can always suggest an alternative.
